You may have seen on Drupal.org or within the Search API Solr module’s administration interface messaging stating that support for the 8.x-1.x branch of the module ended in 2019.

This caused concern for some Acquia customers because this branch of the module continues to be required for Acquia Search services.

Acquia, in partnership with the module’s maintainer, is committed to ongoing support for the 8.x-1.x branch. This will ensure continued security and critical issue support for Acquia customers through 2020. If your application is using this module, no action is required on your part. This module will continue to be supported throughout the year.
